What the Factory does

"Factory" is the game's own zone name for the conveyor line. Its stations want two things: a zombie worker and a belt connection. Once both are in place, the line produces on its own — and what it packs is exactly what town orders request. The zone covers 32 buildings, 69 conveyor recipes, and 15 workbench extensions. The zombie column is the station flag — a blank means the building is not a workstation (chests and belts themselves). Tier II and III versions of the Assembly bench, Smithy and Kitchen cost Reinforced Beams, Steel Screws and Engineering Details instead.

Production chains that matter

The 69 line recipes run on Assembly benches and the factory smithies and kitchens — the set that produces continuously once a belt is attached. Core chains:

• Wooden Kit I: 1 Log → 4 Wooden Kit I (14 tick), or 1 Log + 4 Bronze Nails → 4 Wooden Kit I (12 tick)
• Crate: 1 Wooden Kit I + 1 Iron Kit I → 2 Crate
• Stone Kit: 2 Stone → 1 Stone Kit, then 1 Stone Kit + 1 Brick → Building Kit I or Supply: Building materials I
• Fabric: 16 Flax → 1 Fabric, or straight into Supply: Fabric
• Supply: Iron: 8 Iron Ingot → 1 Supply: Iron (10 tick)

Higher-tier supplies gate behind better benches: Supply: Iron Tools (1 Crate + 4 Iron Kit I) and Supply: Cutlery I need Assembly bench II or III.

Extensions and porters

Assembly benches, smithies and kitchens accept bolt-on extensions — the Auto-hammer, Spinning wheel, Drill press, Sewing machine and Lathe for benches; Hammer, Bellows, Press and Grindstone for the smithy; Millstone, Sealing Machine and Stove for the kitchen. These are cheap (Bronze Gears, Iron Details, planks) and widen what each station can run.
