Graveyard Keeper 2 Update 1.008 Patch Notes

Update 1.008 is the latest official PC patch, published on October 2, 2026. Console availability of this build has not been confirmed.

Crash and error fixes

• Fixed a crash when going to bed that could throw the player out of bounds
• Fixed saves getting stuck on an infinite loading screen (conveyor-related exception)
• Fixed persistent error pop-ups repeating during a session

Quest and progression fixes

• Fixed the Inflation mercenary quest error that blocked progress and left a garden plot locked
• Fixed a main-questline softlock when completing Linda's quest
• Placeholder text no longer appears after starting combat

Zombies, farming and stations

• Fixed zombies getting stuck taking items from the firewood holder
• Fixed wheat visually following the player and farmers failing to produce
• Fixed the zombie Panic debuff not triggering when over the zombie cap
• Fixed the PR Machine lasting less time than stated

Crafting and perks

• The Sommelier perk now correctly boosts wine crafting
• Corrected wrong requirement info in the distiller craft tooltip

Combat change

• Fast travel points can no longer be used during battle

Selected UI fixes

• Clay storage no longer looks empty when more than half full
• Save slots now show up-to-date info and the correct happiness icon
• Fixed study-table window resizing for long item names
